An award-winning First Nations leadership development service

This co-design and research project paved the way for a new, strength-based conversation about First Nations Leadership in the Queensland Public Service

Traditional approaches to leadership development rarely involve the end user. This research and design project took the opposite approach and built a service with and for its users.

The project

  • Ethnographic research in First Nations and Public Service leadership

  • Co-design with over 550 Elders, service users and other Public Service leaders as well as the supporting sectors

My role

  • I led the project from A-Z, collaborating with hundreds of individuals and organisations across the government sector, working with a team of 4

Deliverables

  • Completed service from inception to delivery

  • Numerous board reports and presentations at the highest government level
