Increase public safety in wildlife habitat

This research project found new answers to well-known questions on how to keep people safe in wildlife habitat.

The problem

Australia is famous for its wildlife but the people who protect it often see the bad side of human behaviour - visitors, and locals ignoring the rules that are put in place to protect them and wildlife. But how do you change behaviour when no one is watching?

My role

I led the project from A-Z, supported by a junior colleague.

Project

  • A research project identifying ways that government could intervene to encourage lawful behaviour in wildlife, from placemaking solutions to behavioural intervetions.

Deliverables

  • Personas across various demographics

  • Deep insights report across personas

  • Policy recommendations based on behavioural insights
