A social impact and place-making strategy for a local community precinct

This research and experience design project helped a precinct developer identify their social value proposition, along with a clear strategy for placemaking in the local community.

The problem

The high street is having a hard time with the rise of online, yet we need social and commercial spaces where we live to keep our communities vibrant. Considering the social and place impact that developments have is crucial at the planning stage.

My role

I led the project from A-Z, along with a junior colleague.
